Afghan Hounds

The Afghan Hound is an aristocrat. His whole appearance is one of dignity and aloofness with no trace of plainness or coarseness. The striking breed characteristics – exotic expression, long silky topknot, a peculiar coat pattern, prominent hipbones, and a proudly carried head with eyes gazing into the distance – give the Afghan Hound the appearance of what he is, a king of dogs.
